One night during 2009 Sharon was invited by a good friend to a Lindy Hop party. The vibes of the big band, the happy faces and the exciting dances caught her heart and soul. Ever since, she has been hooked. After 2 years of Lindy Hop training she has discovered blues dancing and embraced it as well.
For Sharon, who plays the Saxophone from early age, blues and swing are much more than a form of music. She strives to teach her students to actually feel the dance. She is constantly looking to bring together technique, fun and excitement to her classes. Being a peoples’ person, She constantly seeks to give personal feedback to her students and to help them individually.
She shares her enthusiastic to dance wherever she goes. In the past few years, Sharon, together with her partner, Ron Dobrovinsky, were teaching around Europe and spread their love for dance not only in the local scene. When she’s not traveling, Sharon is busy teaching at Holy Lindy Land – school of vintage dances, in Israel.
Sharon is also constantly involved in organizing events to enlarge the Blues and Lindy Hop scenes in Israel – such as “Feelin’ Blues” Blues Dance Festival in Tel Aviv and “Desert Stomp” – a one of kind Lindy Hop festival at the heart of the Israeli Negev Desert.
